My firm specializes in creating distinctive architecture for new and existing homes. As a licensed architect, I am able to bring years of experience and study to the design of your home. I will arrange to meet you at your home and we will discuss your general feelings and desires for your space. I generally view this as an informal, free associative discussion in which together we explore how your life can be enriched by a new space. I ask my client to focus less on how many bedrooms or bathrooms they want, and instead focus on what places they have been that have made them feel something, be it is bad or good. Often, a lot can be accomplished by in this meeting, and the experience is always a great way for us to get a feel for how we interact in solving problems. After the initial meeting, I will prepare a contract that will note the specifics requirements of the project and the services I can provide. These services include the following:
- Initial design and code/zoning review
- Permit documents and code modifications
- Interior design services
- Kitchen/bathroom design
- Finish selections
- Construction services
- Contractor identification, selection, and negotiation
